报告人简介:

Dr. Serge Delrot, Professor, got his Ph.D degree in University of Poitiers, France in 1981. Now he works in the UMR Ecophysiology and Grape Functional Genomics, Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences, University of Bordeaux in France. Starting from 1978, he developed physiological approaches in order to understand the mechanism of phloem loading in source leaves. Then he turned to biochemical studies aimed at the purification of the sucrose/proton cotransporter from sugar beet leaves. When the first sucrose transporter was identified, He drive the lab to molecular biology approaches, but with the constant aim to understand the biochemistry and the physiology of assimilate transport. Starting in 1995, part of our studies focused on the accumulation of sugars and water in grapevine, as well as to the study of resistance to biotic and abiotic stress.  

He published more than 100 hundred of papers related to the plant physiology and also the molecular biology. He is the referee for several journals including Plant Cell, Plant Cell Physiology, Plant Journal, et al. He is also the associate editor of Journal of Experimental Botany, Plant Molecular Biology Report et al.
